Blessings and Praise
New Years Day 01/01/09 May our Lord grant His fullest blessings on all the world's children during this year. We will praise him for all things, especially for our beloved Saviour, Jesus!
We belong to St Paul Lutheran Church in Santa Monica, a progressive, liberal body of believers that takes Jesus seriously. Of course, He said outlandish things like , "Hey, all you guys who are down and out, different, homeless; all you women raising children alone, all you that couldn't "make it" in this society ----YOU come to Me and take a break." I'm the best thing that will ever happen to you."
You can find Jesus in the outreached hands and smiling faces --where people are fed with grace
in the preaching--with the bread of the Spirit.
This sounds like a church blog,I realize, but I'm led to share the good news of what I've found there.
